Discover Nambucca with its clean, uncrowded estuary waterways, green rural areas and plenty of locations and events to visit.

It's a real heaven for all water activities with fishing off our private jetty, boating, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, waterskiing, snorkelling, swimming, surfing, and boardriding.

It is a chance to get back to nature in some of New South Wales' most unspoilt areas. There are bushwalks to suit all abilities and trails to tour through local forests and rural areas as well as heritage listed National Parks close by. Wildlife is in abundance such as dolphins, birds and native animals create the focus for anyone chasing the ideal photographic opportunity.

Nambucca is full of creativity. There are galleries and shops, featuring various works by locals. Our famous mosaic mural in the main street is in keeping with the great atmosphere. Be creative and paint a momento rock at the V-wall.

There are four bowling greens, three golf courses and numerous tennis courts which cater for the sporting enthusiast. The challenging Nambucca Heads Island Golf Course must be Australia’s most beautiful and unique golf course.

We have many attractive clubs and picturesque pubs and taverns. The RSL at Nambucca has one of the most spectacular views from its attractive lounge.

Nambucca’s history and heritage is well documented in museums at Nambucca Heads, Bowraville and Macksville. Many buildings from the early 1900’s have been restored to their former glory.
